Here’s our District Directors’ latest batch of news and Member Spotlights from Around the Mitten.
Being a member of JCI has countless benefits.
2020 has been a year where you have been able to notice the benefits of JCI we may have taken for granted. JCI is not only about building leaders and impacting our community, it’s about creating lifelong relationships. Relationships we have been able to depend on during our rough days of being stuck at home and no end in sight. In 2020 we have been able to connect virtually with members across the state for happy hours, trivia, conferences and even award ceremonies. If I didn’t have JCI to rely on in 2020 to keep me positive and look forward to virtual events to make a connection in a safe way; it would have been an even more difficult year. 2020 has had it’s challenges in our careers, our personal lives and our relationships. Members of JCI Michigan have stepped up and took on the challenges and been there for one another. JCI is not only the best organization of young leaders, it’s a family.
As the year ends, I’m beyond excited that Megan Hayden will be supporting D3 in 2021. This may have not been the year we expected or planned for, but I’m beyond proud of all the cool, innovative events that D3 has put on throughout the year. Thank you all for letting me visit and learn more about your chapters.
