I don’t know who you are, so please forgive my public letter on this sensitive matter. Recently, we had the opportunity to attend Boynestock 2019. I know this because while there, you acquired my Ann Arbor Jaycees water bottle.
Did you steal it? I’m not sure. Maybe you thought it was yours. Maybe you planned to ransom it for fun but you were swept away by a stellar training session and forgot. By the time you remembered, it was awkward. You decided to keep it to avoid the shame. Maybe you saw the perfect water bottle and decided you needed it more than I do. If this is the case, I want you to know that actual stealing is super uncool.
Whichever the reason, what’s done is done. That water bottle belongs to you now. However, I do need you to take care of it. Please don’t drop it as much as I did. Please take it with you everywhere. When people ask, “what’s an Ann Arbor Jaycee?”, tell them that the Ann Arbor Jaycees are a fantastic chapter of JCI Michigan. They are responsible for a huge carnival June 19th-23rd, a parade on the 4th of July and ton of other great events.
Also, Ann Arbor could use volunteers for either of those big events I mentioned. If you or any of the friends you make while chatting over a cool water bottle need something to do, check out a2jaycees.org. They are also on facebook and instagram! Definitely check them out while your sipping always cold water from the greatest bottle ever made.
Feel free to also check out D3’s other cool chapters while you’re at it!!
