I hope you all had as much fun as I did at the 2019 Year-End Conference in Ann Arbor last month! It was so great to see everyone and to recognize all the hard work that our local members and chapters put in during 2019! It is clear that that enthusiasm and passion to make a difference is continuing this year!
As I mentioned in last month’s Michigander, I have launched a new program this year called “Hanging in The Hive.” This is an opportunity to recognize your fellow Jaycees who are Being The One in their local communities. Thank you to all who nominated fellow members in February; this month’s randomly selected winner of dinner with me is Lindsey Griffith from JCI Greater Muskegon.
Lindsey was nominated by Keria Shineldecker because Lindsey, “has been killing [it with] JCI Greater Muskegon’s Public Relations and Marketing for Snowfest and the chapter.” Lindsey is always looking to boost our members and chapter as a whole! Watch Post It Here for spotlights on other nominees and remember to nominate your fellow members at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wYSLTNmOPo1RWhuviInt4P9QG9F9DqN0hQe5nnJPOAY.
JCI Michigan is always looking forward; and as part of this process we are creating a Strategic Planning Committee to help create a plan for the organization for the next 5 years. We are looking for a diverse group of members who want to help shape the future of this organization. If you are interested in serving please complete the survey at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=15q1GrDryzXXgJHWhJVcsqHkCVW0VbqOVT-2OXO-ZmAM.
Please note we are looking for members with various experiences and backgrounds, and everyone is welcome to submit.
Keep doing all the amazing things, I am so excited to see what each and every member is doing to Be The One. Have a wonderful March everyone, I look forward to seeing many of you over the next month at your chapter events.
Yours in Service,
