March 2020 Communications Update

Hello JCI Michigan!

This year, our communications team is focusing our social media messages on specific content that is relevant to you, our members, and we need your help.

Do you have something interesting that has happened in your professional life? A promotion, new job, award received? Are you an elected or appointed member of your local government? Is your chapter hosting an interesting project?

We may not be able to share every potential submission but we want to know what’s going on so we can highlight your successes! If you have something to share please submit your ideas (including pictures if you have them) anytime to [email protected] and then watch our social media and the Michigander to see if you might be the next featured story.

I also want to thank all of the members out there who are engaging in social media and communication efforts for their local chapters. This is no small task and it is so crucial to the success of our chapters. The JCI Michigan Communications and Technology team is here to help you anytime you need us. You can reach out for help with crafting posts, navigating the variety of social media platforms, email and newsletter communications and so much more.

Our team is also able to help chapters with website creation, design, updating, and hosting. If your chapter doesn’t currently have a website we can get you setup with everything you need. These services are FREE to chapters. Just one more benefit of your membership in JCI Michigan.
