Tools for Success part 2 VP Sarah Austin and Programming Director Team Come join the programming team as we discuss year end award submissions, review lessons learned throughout the year and have another open discussion on best practices. We will have snacks and lots of FUN to relieve any end of the year burn out you may be having.
Fake It ‘til You Make it Carol Zombro and Nikki Dobos We are all volunteers. How do we navigate out adult lives and still have energy to Jaycee? What do we do when there is nothing left to give? Do we go to GMM or do we stay in bed and watch six episodes of Netflix? We find every once of energy available and we fake it… until we make it. We splash together hospitality, enthusiasm, presentation, passion and a large dose of knowing our limits. Join us for tips and tricks that will help you be a hype man when you don’t even want to wear pants. There will be much jocularity…and donuts?

JCI Effective Leadership (cont.) Anna Versalle The Effective Leadership course will define the kind of effective leadership needed to address the local, national and global problems of the 21st century society. Non Profit laws and regulations John Badeen This training will highlight many potential legal issues facing chapters. Participants will explore licensing, insurance, and common contract law issues that many chapters (should) deal with on a regular basis.
Understanding the difference between 401K, IRA and Roth IRA Chris Crawford This training will be centered around planning for retirement. We will discuss Traditional, IRA, Roth IRA, 401K/403B. We will also discuss the different types of investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. The purpose is to educate people as to what these things are and how to best utilize them to achieve their goals for retirement.

Well now is the chance to learn these basic car mechanics and more. Come learn how to change a flat tire, how to jump-start your car, how to identify tire problems, fluid identification and suggested change intervals.
Self Defense – LADIES ONLY (sorry guys) Jen Mansfield and Jay Johnson Come learn self-defense moves to help protect you in an attack. You will learn moves to help you escape from Bear hugs and choke holds as well as other moves to help you stay safe. There may also be some live demonstrations (between the instructors that is)
