Who are we?

The Ann Arbor Jaycees are young adults ages 21-40 who want to make a positive difference in our community. We’re also friends who have a lot of fun together! Our friendships grow as we participate in community service projects, plan seminars, go to socials, and team up for recreational activities. The Ann Arbor Jaycees is also a leadership training organization. Much of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in projects and/or committees. Other leadership skills are learned by serving on the Board of Directors. The Ann Arbor Jaycees is not just a local group. We’re also affiliated with the Michigan Jaycees, the U.S. Jaycees, and Junior Chamber International. These organizations provide additional events and ways to get involved. What do we do?

People join the Ann Arbor Jaycees for lots of different reasons. We offer a wide range of events and activities, so there’s something for everyone! You can choose your level of involvement from attending a few activities here or there, or you can dive right in and participate several times a week. Whatever your lifestyle or schedule, you will find many interesting activities in the Ann Arbor Jaycees.

Where do we work, live and play?

Our members live and work throughout the metro Detroit area.  At the end of the day, though, we all have some sort of tie to Ann Arbor.  That’s why we choose to be involved in making a difference in this amazing community day in and day out.  Our events may take place in the “Tree City,” but our impact reaches well beyond the city limits.
